Spiritual Backmail

Chain letters are alive and well, and live on the Internet.

Here is the most recent example:

"The President of Argentina received this picture n (sic) called it 'junk mail', 8 days later his son died. A man received this picture & immediately sent out copies..his surprise was winning the lottery. Alberto Martinez received this picture, gave it to his secretary to make copies but they forgot to distribute: She lost her job & he lost his family.

"This picture is miraculous & sacred. Forward to 10 people. "

It is a neat picture, as surrealism goes. As it happens, I saw this picture as a poster on (I think) Posters.com, where I was looking over my human's should while he was looking for a particular poster he'd seen once (more on that some other time).

Instead of forwarding to ten people who aren't interested anyway, I thought I'd post it here, and send the link backwards to the one who sent it, and forwards to some others on my human's contact list.

If you feel you must, go ahead and forward the link and save room on the attachments.

And no, nothing catastrophic will happen if you don't that would not have happened anyway.

And no blessings will accrue if you do, apart from taking an interest in another person's life.

How can I say that, ghost kitty that I am? Because God doesn't work that way. He does NOT work through talimans or charms. He works through faith and acceptance of Him, and hearing His voice, and learning His will through reading His word. Remember, He will never contradict His written word.

Read that Bible. Then listen for His voice. Check it against His word, lest the Deceiver try to fool you.

But don't worry about Spiritual Blackmail in the form of chain letter emails.

You didn't know a kitty cat could be so articulate, did you?

Meow.
